Eastside Grill is seeking an experienced Prep Cook
This candidate must possess the basic skills such as proper knife skills, measurements and equivalences, sanitation and food safety, kitchen equipment knowledge (proficient with a mixer/grinder, slicer, ovens, ect.) This individual but be able to demonstrate the knowledge and kitchen techniques that will enable them to properly execute a variety of recipes (roux, stocks, mother sauces, risotto, ect…) including a proficiency in baking. This position would also require an existing knowledge of prep lists, daily inventory, tracking usage. This position also requires a knowledge of receiving product, checking it in to ensure order accuracy, refusing incorrect or substandard product, as well as the ability to put away and unpack an order.
