Friendly 6 Year Old Hermann's Tortoise (Midway/Garfield Ridge)

★ Health / Paperwork ★
When I first got him, I had him evaluated by an exotic vet. He was seen by a vet at Midwest Bird and Exotic Animal Hospital. was confirmed his gender is for sure male. I have his paperwork to transfer over to whomever adopts him. He was perfectly healthy and seems to still be in great shape.
★ Personality ★
For his personality, he is a very snoopy tort! Not in a bad sense, but a curious one. He is always curious of what you’re doing and enjoys being near/the company of humans. He also loves cats too. I would let him out to crawl on my floor and he took quite a liking to my cats, following them and resting near them. For more on his personality, ask away. He is little but mighty. Quite fast too. He enjoys being outdoors and feeling the sun on his back. He’s usually in an outdoor enclosure that is monitored by camera in the summer months. Oh, and he likes to follow you around and hang out by your feet. I’m also know sure if it’s that he knows his name or is familiar with my voice saying it towards him, but he seems to somewhat know his name..?
★ Diet ★
He is on a diet of romaine lettuce, kale, grass, zucchini, clover, spring greens, the leafy tops of strawberries, and occasionally dandelion leaves. I try to give him a variety and “rotate” his greens with what he eats. Romaine lettuce seems to be his favorite though. He does also eat Fluker's Buffet Blend Tortoise Diet (the veggies with fortified pellets). He has a food dish that he knows to eat out of and expects his pellets in there. He will ONLY eat the small kind. I attached a photo of what I’m talking about.
A rehoming fee does apply. Asking $150. I just don’t want him going to someone just for their kids and the kids are careless when handling him, crack his shell severely, or some other horrific event. Please e-mail me with any questions. Thank you. :-)
