We are seeking an experienced and properly licensed armed driver to provide secure transportation and close protection for our client.
Position Summary
This Driver will be responsible for the safe, discreet, and professional transportation of the principal and combines defensive driving skill and armed security training. This role requires sound judgment, absolute and total discretion along with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risk in a variety of environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide secure ground transportation, including route planning and real-time risk assessments
- Maintain constant situational awareness and coordinate with the broader security / corporate team
- Maintain the vehicle in secure, ready condition
- Respond appropriately to security incidents or emergencies, including provision of first aid if required
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the principal's schedule, movements, and personal affairs
- Coordinate logistics for local and, where applicable, international travel
Qualifications
- English as your primary language to speak and write
- Valid state license to carry a firearm (LTC) in a professional security capacity, with current firearms certification (Annual qualification in daylight and low conditions will be required)
- A clean driving record
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, drug screening, and reference verification
- Willingness to travel and work flexible / irregular hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience protecting high-net-worth individuals, executives, or public figures
- Background in law enforcement, military, or professional close protection strongly preferred
- Current First Aid / CPR certification
