I am a work-from-home professional and I have one, clean cat and we are looking for a new home here in Milwaukee. We do enjoy Bay View, however all good neighborhood options are open.
Must-haves:
*clear and timely communication
*newer windows and a clean, functioning everything
*laundry on-site
*some storage
* a 1 bdrm plus den or 2 bdrm would be great
* consistent parking, whether that's on-street or a car port or a garage spot
*access to outside, also for my small container garden/a balcony
Ideally the place would also have:
* central air
* a dishwasher
* loads of sunlight
Absolutely no:
*moldy basements (or moldy anything) or water in the basement
*under the landing/take-off lanes for the airport
*drama
*drugs and/or smoking
*funny business
If you would like to have a tenant who WANTS you to fix things and who will take excellent care of the place, and you do things right the first time and in a timely (but not rushed) manner, we might have a good working relationship.
The best landlord I've ever had I found via Craigslist, however sadly he died a few years ago and I would very much like to say, "I've found another great landlord!"
