This is Swiss precision built by hand sonically excellent please do check out Merason audio home page under dac1 MK2 there are a ton of raves and reviews, that is why it is rarely seen on the used market. This dac is best in class up to $12k with ease !! As a veteran of many years in Audio I wanted to improve upon this for each channel there are 1 fuse Audio magic top fuses are a hefty $300x2 Albert at high end gives 30 days audition the dac was even more musical and refined ,to finish this a excellent powercord was needed via through our audio club I had 4 very good Power cords to $2k the AQ Tornado source was the. Clear winner everything just opened up further
I also put the $ 300 Iso Acoustics Bronze feet for even better isolation , this dac design is totally unlike the many generic dacs I have seen , with many low noise regulators with heat sinks ,linear power supplies for both the Digital and Analog conversion even the resistors were chosen for sound quality , please read the reviews this dac is at least 5% better still, my brother is selling his DCS Rosssini that is the only reason for this sale .it is fine tuned and the tweaks are there to make this even better over $2k in upgrades !! This was purchased last year .,Thank you for your consideration. P.s Shipping alone for 2 boxes wil be well over $100+ with insurances.
If you don’t need the feet or powercord I will deduct $650- $4650.
