About Us:
DRYFT Wellesley, located in Linden Square in Wellesley, MA, is part of the growing Aldi Companies restaurant group. Building on the success of our original DRYFT location on Revere Beach, DRYFT Wellesley offers a menu inspired by Italian cuisine, fresh seafood, and elevated yet approachable dining.
We are looking for friendly, organized, and dependable Hosts to join our front-of-house team. Our hosts are the first and last point of contact for our guests and play an important role in creating a welcoming, organized, and enjoyable dining experience.
Whether you have previous restaurant experience or are looking to grow your experience in hospitality, we welcome applicants who are personable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
+ Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
+ Friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor.
+ Strong communication and customer service skills.
+ Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities during busy service.
+ Comfortable interacting with guests both in person and over the phone.
+ Ability to learn restaurant menus, policies, and reservation procedures.
+ Flexible availability.
+ Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
+ Dependable, punctual, and professional.
Responsibilities:
+ Warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive.
+ Manage the host stand and help maintain an organized flow of service.
+ Seat guests efficiently while coordinating with servers and management.
+ Manage reservations, waitlists, and walk-in guests.
+ Answer incoming phone calls and assist with general guest questions.
+ Provide guests with information about the restaurant, menus, and current offerings.
+ Communicate clearly with servers, bartenders, support staff, and management throughout service.
+ Keep the host stand and entrance area clean and organized.
+ Assist with additional front-of-house responsibilities as needed.
