Strong student. Strong grades. Strong potential.
But the SAT score still does not reflect the student’s ability.
Many capable students prepare for months, complete test-prep programs, and take numerous practice tests without reaching their target scores.
The problem is often not intelligence or effort.
It is knowing what to work on, how to correct recurring mistakes, and how to perform consistently under timed conditions.
I provide private SAT coaching for motivated students in the Wellesley area and beyond. My approach combines strategic test preparation with college-readiness mentoring, helping students improve their SAT performance while developing stronger academic habits.
MORE THAN STANDARD SAT TUTORING
This is not a group class or a one-size-fits-all test-prep program.
Each student receives an individualized plan based on current performance, specific weaknesses, testing habits, and score goals. Instead of simply assigning more practice questions, I help students understand why they are missing questions and what they need to do differently.
SAT COACHING MAY INCLUDE
✔ A personalized SAT preparation plan
✔ Math problem-solving strategies
✔ Reading comprehension and accuracy
✔ Grammar and writing instruction
✔ Pacing and time-management techniques
✔ Identification of recurring mistakes
✔ Targeted practice based on actual weaknesses
✔ Accountability and progress tracking
✔ Test-day confidence and decision-making
The objective is not simply to work harder.
It is to prepare more strategically, eliminate preventable errors, and make better decisions under pressure.
