CNC Machine Operator - 1st shift
We're looking for an experienced operator who will operate several different CNC Machines. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience as an Operator with hands-on experience in at least two of the following: CNC laser cutting, turret punching, and press brake forming. This role is ideal for someone who can move between machines as production demands shift, rather than being tied to a single station.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate a Mazak CO2 laser cutting machine per specifications and drawings
Set up and operate a manual/standalone press brake to bend and form sheet metal to precise tolerances
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
Perform in-process quality checks using calipers, micrometers, protractors, etc.
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Move between machines/stations as production scheduling requires
Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing/fabrication environment
Required: Hands-on experience in at least TWO of the following: Industrial CO2 laser, Trumpf TruPunch, Press Brake
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings, including bend sequences and angle callouts
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
High school diploma or GED (technical/trade school a plus)
