The Little Lion is growing, and we're looking for an experienced, hospitality-minded team member to support our busy weekend brunch service.
We're seeking someone who is proactive, personable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This is a hands-on, multifaceted role supporting both our front-of-house team and overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
* Warmly greet guests and assist with the host stand as needed.
* Promptly clear, clean, and reset tables.
* Assist servers with pre-bussing and table maintenance.
* Monitor and refill water, coffee, and other complimentary refills.
* Assist with food running and communicate with expo/kitchen staff as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall floor readiness.
* Anticipate guest and team needs without waiting to be asked.
Qualifications
* Previous restaurant experience required.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Excellent sense of urgency, attention to detail, and situational awareness.
* Ability to multitask and stay organized during high-volume service.
* Reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable taking initiative.
* Weekend availability required.
* Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
Position Details
* Part-time, primarily Saturday and Sunday daytime shifts.
* Compensation: Applicable minimum wage + tips.
* Opportunity to grow with an independently owned, expanding restaurant.
