The Little Lion is growing, and we're looking for a personable, experienced Bartender / Server to join our team!
We're a neighborhood brunch and bar in Ventura with a big personality, a thoughtful food and beverage program, and a genuine love for hospitality. From specialty coffee and matcha to boutique wines, cocktails, and brunch, we take pride in creating an experience that feels just as good as the food and drinks we serve.
We're looking for someone who's naturally warm, attentive, energetic, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. Someone who can keep up with a busy service, take ownership of the details, and make guests feel genuinely taken care of.
What we're looking for:
♡ Previous experience in serving, bartending, barista work, or wine service
♡ A strong understanding of hospitality and exceptional customer service
♡ Confidence multitasking in a fast-paced environment
♡ Reliability, accountability, and excellent attention to detail
♡ A friendly, outgoing personality with a positive, team-first attitude
♡ A willingness to learn and grow within our food and beverage program
♡ Availability for part-time shifts, including weekends
♡ Experience across multiple areas of hospitality is a plus, but we're equally interested in someone with a strong foundation, a great attitude, and a genuine desire to learn.
The role:
♡ Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable guest service
♡ Prepare and serve coffee, specialty beverages, wine, and cocktails
♡ Take orders and manage tables with accuracy and efficiency
♡ Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace
♡ Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth service
♡ Uphold The Little Lion's standards for hospitality, quality, and presentation
