ATTN: Retirees and Moms! Perfect hours available! Position available as activity assistant/facilitator for a high functioning autistic male in the Palmer area. Must have clean driving record, reliable car and cell phone. Job is funded through the Dept of Developmental Services. Applicant will be subject to criminal background check and fingerprinting. Applicant will accompany male to volunteer job site and recreational/exercise at local YMCA. Light housekeeping and laundry duties are involved with community trips for medical appts, toiletries and lunch or snack food as needed. Seasonal yard work is possible as needed. Non smoker preferred. References and resume required. Monday thru Thursday, possibly Fridays 9 to 1.
Great for Moms with school age children as we follow the school year calendar excluding summer break. Retirees are welcome as well.
