My story.
In november 2024 I had what's known as an eye stroke and lost vision in my left eye, then several months later, I had another eye stroke and lost 70% of vision in my right eye.
Ohh, how life throws you a curveball, and how overnight your life can be turned completely upside down.
One of the few things I can still do.And find enjoyment in is playing. So, needless to say, I've been sitting around doing a lot of playing Lately.
Look, i'm nothing special, just an intermediate guitar player who grew up in a blue grass family.I can hold my own playing rhythms and singing either lead or backup. I like sixties, seventies and eighties, rock and country.
Even though i'm considered legally blind, I can see a very little bit out of my right eye. But it has not hampered my playing ability.
I have a great spot in Silver Run with no noise or time restrictions , fully loaded with everything you need. 16 Chanel mixer feeding a 2,400 & 1;200 watt amps. Full sound system, 5 pice pearl studio drum set with 4 symbols and cow bell. Plenty of guitar amps , base can plug into the sound system.
I’m always at the space on the weekends and would like to get a weekly jam session going.
