In this vital role, you'll operate tractor-trailers hauling refrigerated and dry trailers. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. We’re looking for motivated drivers who thrive on route driving and navigating various truck configurations to keep our operations moving smoothly.
***We are looking for early morning start (3-5am) and afternoon start (4-6pm) drivers.***
Duties
Safely operate tractor-trailers across assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement
Manage route driving responsibilities with precision to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel efficiency
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and deliveries in compliance with federal regulations
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery status, and any issues encountered during trips
Requirements
**Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and ONE YEAR proven experience in CDL A driving.**
Proficiency in operating trucks and familiarity with various trailer types including refrigerated trailers.
Knowledge of DOT regulations related to hours of service, vehicle inspections, and safety standards
Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and team members
Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform vehicle inspections regularly
