I am the original owner, purchased directly from ROAM Adventure Co. in mid 2025.
These cases are designed for camping and overlanding where durability and functionality are required. The cases are waterproof/dustproof/crushproof, with silicone gaskets around the lids. The lids also have gas pistons on the hinges that assist in opening the lid and keep them open when necessary. Roam also makes a lid organizer and other accessories for their cases.
Dimensions are 31" x 18.5" x 10.8"
The Rugged Mounts are made of black powder coated stainless steel. Original (unused) stainless mounting hardware included.
I've owned this case system for a little over a year. The Rugged Mounts were mounted to Thule Wingbars on my Subaru Crosstrek. The cases themselves were only mounted on the car while I was using them, and otherwise were stored indoors. They look virtually brand new, only used a few times. I really like the design of the cases and the mounts, and they are extremely heavy duty. I am only selling them because I am switching to a Pelican case option that suits my needs better. The Thule Wingbars are NOT part of this listing.
Purchased new, this whole system (2 cases, 2 sets of mounts) was $1180.
