We are Fernanda’s Beauty Salon, in Winter Hill, in Somerville. We’ve been in Somerville 26 years.
We are hiring a full-time Salon assistant to wash and dry clients, clean up/set up after each client, and clean and organize common salon areas throughout the day. The stylists handle most of their their own clients, so the assistant is focused on the owner, and the lead Stylist.
The ideal candidate has a valid Massachusetts cosmetology license and wants to grow into a Stylist. However, experience is not necessary and the license is not a requirement, just a plus.
Required hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays 7 AM – 3:30 PM. We pay $20/hour during training, and $25/hour after training.
