Looking for a licensed, insured handyman or small deck contractor for a simple back deck refresh on a rental home in Severn, MD 21144. Bid-based job. Please read the scope carefully and send a written bid.
SCOPE OF WORK (this is the entire job)
1. Replace the worn TOP DECK BOARDS and all stair tread boards only. Raised, pressure-treated deck, approx. 200-250 sq ft with stairs (photo estimate, see DECK SIZE below).
2. Paint the existing railings. Clean, prep and paint only. No rebuilding of the railings. One short railing section has a broken baluster (spindle): replace it with a matching one and paint it with the rest of the railings. No other railing repairs.
3. Haul away all old boards and debris.
4. There is a tall freestanding wooden frame (two posts and a top beam) on one deck corner. It stays in place; work around it. Please tell me if you need it moved to do the boards.
