We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Sales Coordinator to support the Sales Department and contribute to the achievement of sales targets. The Sales Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support to the sales team, coordinate customer orders and sales activities, and work closely with other departments to ensure customer requirements are met accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Helping the sales team to improve their productivity, ensuring all Sales Representatives have high-quality support.
• Demonstrated ability to assist senior management and sales representatives with any additional work as needed.
• Handling office calls, emails, and messages when Sales Representatives are unavailable, answering customer queries, informing them of delays and arranging delivery dates
• Handling orders by phone or email and checking the orders have the correct prices and product numbers.
• Inputting orders, ensuring they are processed according to customer requirements, and ensuring all orders are accurate and delivered on time.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure sales, marketing, queries and deliveries are handled efficiently.
• Maintaining filing systems / maintaining sales records.
• Order entry – creating and processing orders in a timely manner for email orders, phone orders and web orders.
• Sales acknowledgements – order details with all required follow up procedures
• Standard quotes – create quotations per customer request.
• RMA – create RMA orders, tracking and follow up.
• Phone answering and email – responses for customer inquiries
• Paperwork – Printing, sorting and filing.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of sales, customer service, or sales support experience.
• Understanding of sales procedures and order processing, including Purchase Orders and Sales Orders.
• Excellent organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
• Understanding of sales processes and customer service practices.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• ERP/MRP and CRM experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Job Type: Full-Time & Onsite
Wage: $22 ~ $26 per hour DOE
