Experienced Bay Area keyboard/piano player and vocalist interested in either joining an established acoustic duo that could benefit from adding keys and another voice, or finding the right people to build a new trio project.
Ideally, I'm looking for musicians who enjoy strong vocals and harmonies and aren't locked into one style. I play a pretty wide range of pop, rock, country, acoustic and 80s/90s through current music, and I'm much more interested in finding the right musical chemistry than putting together another traditional full band.
I'm especially interested in working with a strong female vocalist and an acoustic guitarist who can also sing/harmonize. The idea would be piano/keys + acoustic guitar + 2–3 strong voices, with creative arrangements of familiar songs. We could keep things completely live and organic when appropriate, while still having the option to add percussion or other elements when a song calls for a bigger sound.
I'm experienced, reliable, have professional gear, a large repertoire and plenty of live performance experience. I'm not looking to reinvent the wheel—I just want to find some good musicians, see if there's chemistry, and hopefully create something that's fun to play and sounds great.
South Bay/SF Bay Area.
If you're already doing something that sounds like a fit, or you're interested in building something like this, send me a message. I'd love to hear what you're doing.
