PART-TIME E-BIKE ASSEMBLER
We are looking for an experienced and dependable person to assemble new electric bicycles on an as-needed, part-time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble new e-bikes safely and accurately
- Install and adjust handlebars, wheels, pedals, brakes and accessories
- Inspect completed bikes for safety and proper operation
- Report damaged or missing parts
- Keep the assembly area clean and organized
Compensation:
- $25 per completed standard e-bike that passes final inspection
- Higher rates may apply to complex fat-tire, cargo or specialty models
- All working time must be recorded and compensated in accordance with applicable California and Santa Clara wage requirements
Previous bicycle or e-bike assembly experience is strongly preferred.
FULL-TIME E-BIKE TECHNICIAN & SALES ASSOCIATE
We are looking for an experienced e-bike technician who is also comfortable assisting customers and participating in sales.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain and repair electric bicycles
- Perform tire, tube, brake, drivetrain and other mechanical repairs
- Assemble and safety-check new e-bikes
- Perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Explain repair recommendations clearly to customers
- Help customers select suitable e-bike models
- Assist with test rides, sales and rentals
- Receive shipments and organize inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized shop
- Support daily store operations as needed
Requirements:
- Previous bicycle or e-bike repair experience
- Familiarity with bicycle tools, components and safe assembly
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Comfortable introducing products and participating in sales
- Reliable, responsible and detail-oriented
- Able to commit to a consistent full-time schedule
- Weekend availability is required
- Two days off per week
- Outside work must not interfere with the assigned schedule or job performance
- Interested in stable, long-term employment
Schedule:
Five days per week, generally 11:00 AM–6:00 PM. Weekend availability is required.
Compensation:
- $23–$28 per hour, depending on experience, repair ability and sales skills
- Additional performance incentives may be available
- Qualified long-term employees may become eligible for annual performance-based profit sharing of 5%–10%
- Eligibility will be based on job performance, sales results, repair quality and continued employment
- Profit-sharing terms will be provided in a separate written agreement and do not represent immediate company ownership
