Position Summary
Sedona/Stonebridge Apartments is seeking a dependable, self-motivated, and customer service–oriented Porter to work alongside our maintenance team and support overall property operations. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional who takes immense pride in keeping our apartment community safe, clean, and beautifully presented for current and prospective residents.
To be successful in this role, you must be a positive, all-around team player who is willing to follow instructions and uphold the pristine public image of our facility.
Key Responsibilities
• Curb Appeal: Maintain the overall cleanliness, presentation, and curb appeal of the grounds and all common areas.
• Waste Management: Remove trash from common areas, pick up bulk items around the property, and pull trash bins to the trash compactor daily.
• Facility Upkeep: Keep the trash compactor and dumpsters clean, and perform basic maintenance on the property's trash truck.
• Maintenance Support: Assist the team with light maintenance duties and moderate painting tasks.
• Emergency Response: Rapidly respond to major spills or other unexpected cleaning crises.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a professional Porter.
• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• License: A valid driver’s license is strictly required.
• Pre-Employment Screening: Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening prior to employment.
• Skills: Solid communication skills, with a preference for candidates possessing moderate painting and minor maintenance abilities.
• Traits: Must be highly reliable, professional, positive, and prepared to execute all duties in a safe and timely manner.
• Physical Demands: Physically able to lift/move up to 50 lbs, and comfortably perform frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and walking.
