Looking for a drummer and/or percussionist with good communication to join a guitarist and bass player to create original music, with an emphasis on improvisation around solid grooves.
I’m the bass player and my playing is influenced by reggae, dub and grunge. The guitarist loves improvising and has eclectic tastes from metal to jazz/blues and everything in between. We are expecting the project will evolve with the contribution of whoever joins, and we hope to include more musicians later. Some reference points: Radio Moscow, Jakob, El Perro, Early Pink Floyd, Santana, The War on Drugs, Salmonella Dub, Goose.
Music is a hobby for us, and we aim to play together about every other week, gently aiming at occasional performances as we progress.
We are based in/around San Jose.
Reliability and good attitude is more important than elite skill or theory knowledge.
