I have a male German wirehaired pointer up for adoption. He’s a beautiful dog if you see him in person he speaks for himself. Not all wirehaired are long haired there are shorter hair ones out. People who really know the breed know this.
I do believe the show bred ones have to be long wiry hair, but these aren’t show bred there hunting bred.
He was born 4/20/26 I held on to him and his bother for a long time, until I made up my mind which one to keep. I couldn’t make up my mind so I had a coin flip and this one lost.
This isn’t a rescue dog or a dog breed for no reason it’s very well bred. Both parents on site, so you can get a look at what he came from. I hunt both parents and they’re both quite good.
