This small clock from 40 years ago is made of solid metal, either aluminum or highly polished and brushed steel, but for it's size it's very heavy, like half a pond. Very nice and elegant looking for a desk, bookshelf, or table. Brand new battery just installed, and it comes with one new battery in unopened package. Please check the photos for the size, it's 0.66 in. thick. It works accurately as well with hour, minute, and seconds needles.
