The price for the entire audio system listed below is $400. I won't sell individual components, so please don't ask. This price is firm and non-negotiable. Please don't ask for a discount or make an offer.
For sale is an audiophile-quality stereo system composed of three (3) different audio components as follows:
Complete technical details of these components are listed below. But here's a quick summary:
At the center of this system is a Sherwood brand Receiver, which was first manufactured in 1972, during the heyday of extremely powerful audio-quality receivers. It's an old-school stereo receiver with internal Class 'A' circuitry for audiophile-quality sound. This Sherwood receiver was purchased by my father in 1973 and then he gifted it to me about 10 years ago. For the last 10 years, I had it in my home office for listening to music while I worked. In this home office configuration, this Sherwood component was treated like an integrated amplifier with one audio input, power amplification for attached speakers, and volume control. No other built-in functions in this component were ever utilized by me.
I purchased the Boston Acoustics brand bookshelf speakers about the same time 10 years ago, specifically to connect to the Sherwood receiver. These speakers are also audiophile-quality and they are a perfect match for the Sherwood receiver. The resulting sound from this device combination is excellent.
When I first installed these in my home office about 10 years ago, I directly connected my cell phone's wired audio output to the Sherwood receiver. About 2 years ago, I purchased the BluDento brand Bluetooth audio receiver as my newest cell phone did not have a wired audio output port.
The Bluetooth receiver worked perfectly to stream internet music from my cell phone to the Boston Acoustics speakers, using the amplification from the Sherwood receiver. This system allows for the highest quality sound that you can get from cheap internet music streaming sources such as Spotify. The sound quality from this system is far greater than using one of those small Bluetooth speakers.
I recently upgraded my entire home office. So this system is no longer being used. Hopefully, it will work for you.
You can pick up from my house near the San Jose Airport. Or I would be happy to deliver it to you, if I happen to travel out in your direction.
I prefer that you reach out via text message. Sending an initial email message is OK. But arranging pickup solely using email is not a feasible option for me. Eventually, you'll have to text me to arrange a specific pickup or delivery time. Thanks.

More Complete Details About the Sherwood Brand Stereo Audio Receiver / Amplifier:
Included in the purchase is a Sherwood brand stereo receiver with built-in power amplifier. This is model number S-7300.
As mentioned above, this model was first manufactured in 1972. It's an old-school stereo receiver with internal Class 'A' circuitry for audiophile-quality sound. The unit measures 18.5" wide, 16" deep, and 5.75" tall. It weighs about 30 pounds.
The unit has a built-in audiophile-quality power amplifier. When connected to 8 Ohm speakers, it can delivering 42 watts of stereo amplification for each speaker, or 84 watts in total. When connected to 4 Ohm speakers, this increases to 60 watts of amplification for each speaker or 120 watts total. It can deliver this wattage with only 0.1% total harmonic distortion (THD). It has has two sets of screw-mount connectors for two different sets of stereo speakers (A+B). In my residence, only one set of speakers (i.e. the Boston Acoustics brand ones) was attached.
[Please note that the other functions in this audio receiver are untested. For example, it has two (2) sets of phono inputs for connection to an old-school turntable / record player. But I don't own a compatible turntable to test these inputs. It also has a built-in FM / AM radio tuner, but I don't get great radio reception in my house to adequately test this radio functionality. And it has two (2) sets of speaker outputs, but since I only have one set of speakers, I cannot test both outputs at the same time. You can feel free to test these other receiver functions before purchase. But you'll have to bring your own equipment for the test.]
The amplifier function in this Sherwood component is in excellent condition. There is nothing wrong with it. The amplifier provides clean power to the speakers and the sound quality is excellent. Cosmetically, the receiver is also in excellent condition. There are no significant scratches, dents, dings, or smudges on any exterior surface. But there are some tiny scratches on some exterior surfaces.
The only negative thing to report is two internal monitor lights within the receiver seem to be non-operational. The first non-working internal light is intended to illuminate the radio dial on the FM / AM radio tuner. And the second non-working internal light is intended to confirm that the auxiliary input is active. These functions work fine, but the lights to illuminate them are non-operational. While I don't consider these issues to be critical, I wanted to report them here.
As part of the purchase, you'll get two speaker cables to connect the receiver to the included speakers. You'll also get one stereo audio cable to connect the amplifier to the included Bluetooth receiver. The original cardboard box and product manual for the amplifier are not included.

The frequency response from each speaker is 48Hz to 20kHz and the cross-over frequency is 3.30kHz. The nominal impedance is 8Ω and the audio sensitivity is 90dB. The back panel has connection inputs for bare speaker wires or speaker wire terminated with banana clips or spade lugs.
The speakers are in excellent structural, functional, and cosmetic condition. The quality of the sound from both speakers is excellent with no distortion. You can confirm that they work before purchase using the included Sherwood amplifier.

More Complete Details About the BluDento Brand Bluetooth Stereo Audio Receiver:
Included in the purchase is a BluDento brand Bluetooth-enabled stereo audio receiver. This is model number BLT-2.
This is a very small component that measures about 4" wide, 3" deep, and 1" tall. When rotated out for use, the built-in antenna adds another 4" to the height of the unit. It weighs about 6 ounces.
This is a standard Bluetooth audio receiver that wirelessly connects to your electronic devices, including your cell phone, laptop computer, or desktop computer. This has a high-quality Qualcomm brand Bluetooth Version 5.1 processor built-in (QCC3034). The receiver uses a number of high-quality Bluetooth audio codecs including aptX HD, aptX LL, aptX, AAC, and SBC. Using these technologies, you can stream audio from your phone or computer to the Bluetooth receiver, which is connected to the amplifier and speakers. In this way, you can output and listen to audiophile-quality sound from your phone or computer.
The audio outputs from the receiver include 1) RCA-type analog, 2) digital optical, and 3) digital coaxial. The analog audio output is supported by an audiophile-quality DAC chip (TI brand, model PCM5102A). In my system, the Bluetooth receiver was connected to the Sherwood amplifier using one set of analog stereo cables. In my system, I did not utilize the digital outputs on the Bluetooth receiver, as the Sherwood amplifier does not have any digital inputs.
The Bluetooth receiver is in excellent functional and cosmetic condition. There is nothing wrong with it. The receiver connects effortlessly to all of my Bluetooth-enabled electronic devices, including my cell phone, laptop computer, and desktop computer. The sound quality from this receiver is excellent with no distortion or other audio concerns.
