Spectacular antique king bed with exceptionally ornate carved details throughout, including carved figures on the massive corner posts, garland detailing, claw-style feet, oversized finials and a prominent lion head crest. The matching carved footboard is every bit as dramatic as the headboard, giving this bed tremendous presence from every angle.
Polished and ready to use. The antique wood frame shows approximately a century of age, including old repairs, natural wood movement and separation in areas. One original corner locking fastener is missing/nonfunctional; the other three original fasteners remain operational, and fresh hook-style rail attachments are installed and working. A fitted Zinus king platform/support system is included, providing modern mattress support independently of the antique frame.
