Lease Takeover – January 2027 to March 31, 2027
I’m a student and will be moving out around beginning-January 2027, possibly a little earlier, so I’m looking for someone to take over my lease.
The current lease ends March 31, 2027. Management usually starts the renewal process around February, so if you like the place, you may have the option to renew and stay longer.
Location:
Honestly one of the best things about the apartment. It’s around 15 minutes walking to basically anywhere at Northeastern, and also convenient for several other nearby universities.
Green Line: About 3 minutes away by foot.
Parking: Street parking with Boston resident permit.
Heating: Radiator heat. Very warm during winter.
AC: No built-in AC. I can sell you my fan for a small amount if you want it.
Kitchen: Tiny, but it works.
Bathroom: Full bathroom with a bathtub, not just a shower.
Laundry: In the basement. Around $2.50 per load. Nothing fancy, but it works fine.
Elevator: Small, but yes, there is one.
Furniture:
I’ll be taking most of my personal stuff, but I can sell some things cheaply if you want them, including:
* Bed
* Table
* Chair
* Storage/closets
* Microwave
* Monitors
I’m not looking to charge much — mainly trying to avoid moving everything with me. Message me and we can discuss what you want.
Pests: No current cockroach or mouse problems in my apartment. It’s on the 4th floor, and the newer management company has also treated the building.
Pets: I need to confirm the official management policy. My neighbor has a dog, so pets appear to be allowed, but I don’t want to promise anything before checking.
Internet: Around $70/month. I currently rent the modem and get approximately 600–700 Mbps stable speeds.
Lease transfer fee: None
About the photos:
I’m still living here, so some photos are AI-edited mainly to remove clutter/personal belongings. The apartment itself and layout are not supposed to be changed in the edited photos. Most of my stuff will be gone when I move out, and the apartment will obviously be much emptier.
The new tenant will need to go through the management company’s lease-transfer/application process.
Message me if you’re interested or want more details, photos, a video, or to come see the apartment.
