37-Year-Old Working Male Seeking Room for Rent — Homeowner Only
My name is Kevin, and I’m a 37-year-old male looking for a room to rent. I have been homeless since last March and am actively working with the Here4U Housing Problem Assistance Program to secure stable housing.
I currently have a part-time job and also earn income through Uber and Lyft. I am looking for a stable place to live and can afford approximately $900 per month in rent.
The housing assistance program can help with my first month’s rent and security deposit. After that, I would take over the monthly rent myself.
I am specifically looking for a room in a home directly owned by the homeowner. The homeowner must be the person renting the room to me. Unfortunately, I cannot rent from someone who is leasing an apartment or house themselves or who is subleasing.
