Pro Tools digidesign 003 Rack Mount Mixer - $20 (Quincy)

I am selling this Digidesign 003 as is and partly tested.
This is a Digidesign Rack Mount 003 Pro Tools Mixer Interface. (This Unit comes with the unit itself and the power cord. No firewire cable or software is included.)
I am not familiar with the complete operation of this Mixer, so I will describe it to the best of my knowledge. Other than it is for pro tools and it was pretty much used by musicians and recording engineers. It was released in 2007 and it runs off of Legacy software. It is a used piece of equipment that I personally purchased second hand, but it turned out it can’t be used as a stand alone, so I am selling it as is and partly untested.
It does use firewire and proprietary software for Pro Tools. It also cannot be used as a Standalone mixer, as this is what I purchased it for, before realizing it can’t be used as such.
Except for a stain on the top of the case as shown, which was from when I removed a sticker and needed spray oil to remove the glue residue, it's in very good cosmetic condition. It comes with the power cord only.
It Powers up and all the lights function when their appropriate buttons are depressed.
When initializing the power button, it goes through a series of about 3 clicks from the internal relays and then goes into mute mode with the red mute light on. This seems consistent with how it is supposed start up according to my research. Also the drivers and outputs have not been tested.
Other than checking the power functions, I cannot say if it works properly or not. So I am selling it as is and untested.
For the people in the recording industry, you should be familiar with this unit and its functions. For the people like myself that’s not familiar with this unit, there are videos and literature out there for someone interested in using it.
