I’m a 30-year-old guy working in construction with my dad, and I’ve been hoping to find a mid-century home that needs work. My goal isn’t to flip a house—I’m really just trying to find a place I can fix up over time and actually live in. One of my dreams is to do this with my dad before he finally calls it quits and hangs up his tool belt.
I’m open to pretty much anything:
Homes that need a lot of repairs
Vacant or abandoned properties
Houses that haven’t been updated in years
Off-market opportunities (before listing, or if you’re just thinking about selling) This is huge to me as when it hits the market i have about 20 minutes to decide if i want to make a move or not!
I have building experience and enjoy doing the work with my dad, so big projects are okay with me. This is the most important thing to me.
I’m also flexible on how the deal could work the ball is totally in your court!
Cash purchase
Land contract or land lease
Regular sale
I am hoping to find one in the circled red area (see picture above) as i am still trying to stay close to my family as they are my life!
If you have a property like this, or know someone who does, I’d really appreciate you reaching out. Even if you’re not sure yet, I’m happy to have a conversation.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my ad!
