Designer / Project Manager Needed for Luxury Home Remodel (Pittsfield)

Seeking a Designer / Project Manager / Assistant to work directly with the owner on the complete renovation and furnishing of a newly purchased residence in the Pittsfield / Berkshires area of Massachusetts.
The position will involve design and hands-on renovation/project coordination. Responsibilities will include space planning, selection of finishes, fixtures. furnishings, sourcing materials, working with architects and contractors, monitoring construction progress, maintaining budgets and schedules, and helping ensure that all details of the project are properly completed.
The ideal candidate should have a strong design sense and construction experience; woththe ability to put together bid packages to obtain competitive bids; and to put together a team of architect, general contractor, and civil engineer
Some personal assistant and organizational responsibilities may also be included.
The position may initially be part-time or project-based,and could potentially develop into a larger or full-time position for the right person.
