Sauté Cook – Full-Time

United Staffing Associates is currently recruiting for a reliable & experienced Sauté Cook to join a fast-paced culinary team in Paso Robles. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a high-volume kitchen, preparing menu items to specification, & supporting other kitchen stations as needed.

Duties Include:

• Preparing and cooking menu items at the sauté station according to recipes and standards
• Setting up, stocking, and maintaining the sauté station throughout service
• Preparing and portioning ingredients, including meats, seafood, vegetables, & sauces
• Maintaining consistent food quality, proper cooking temperatures, and presentation
• Working efficiently during busy and high-volume service periods
• Following food safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures
• Keeping work areas clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Assisting with other kitchen stations, prep, opening/closing duties, and special events as needed
• Communicating effectively with the Chef and kitchen team

Required Qualifications:

• Food Handler certification required within 30 days of employment
• Strong knife skills & basic cooking techniques
• Ability to follow recipes & work efficiently under pressure
• Strong attention to food quality, consistency, & presentation
• Knowledge of food safety & sanitation practices
• Reliable, punctual, & team-oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods & lift up to 60 lbs.
• Available to work weekends, holidays, & occasional evenings
• Previous sauté, line cook, or professional kitchen experience preferred

Schedule:

Full-Time | 5 days/week
Shifts scheduled between 9:30 AM & 6:00 PM

Wage:

$18.00–$21.00/hour DOE can be negotiable
