Used by family members to immigrate from Europe to America in early 1900’s
This trunk features an arched top, embossed metal panels, wood slats, decorative metal hardware and floral accents. The interior retains much of its original patterned lining and compartment/tray system, including decorative period illustrations.
The trunk shows considerable age and wear, including scuffs, discoloration, worn lining and other imperfections consistent with an antique piece. I have not restored or refinished it, which makes it a good candidate for someone looking for an original trunk to preserve or restore.
