Each round miniature image is 1 7/8" across. Showing the National Museum, the Old Town Square, the National Theatre in Prague.
These look like beautiful miniature paintings with a lot of details and vivid colors. The photos don't do justice.
There is a printed explanation regarding the Lantern projection. There were hand painted views on glass made around the turn of the Century (around 1900) by a German toy company. This reproduction is of an original Magic Lantern slide from the year sometimes 1900.
