Is your computer getting slower and you're wondering if it's time to replace it?
Before spending money on a new computer, it may be worth finding out what's actually causing the problem.
A slow computer can sometimes be caused by:
• Too many programs running in the background
• Too many startup programs
• Limited storage space
• Software or Windows problems
• An aging hard drive
• Programs that have become more demanding over time
There is also another important consideration: the age of the operating system and the computer hardware.
If the operating system is no longer supported and the hardware isn't compatible with a current supported operating system, upgrading may not be an option. In that situation, replacing the computer may be the more practical choice.

Keep in mind that moving to a new computer isn't always as simple as copying your files. Programs generally need to be reinstalled, and email, printers and other devices may need to be configured.
