Balch Petroleum is a construction company specializing in the demolition, installation, and servicing of fuel systems. We keep our clients' fuel systems running and operational, and we're looking to bring on someone who wants to build a real career with us.
We're hiring a motivated, hands-on worker ready to learn the trade and grow into a Petroleum Plumber or Service Technician. No experience needed, just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
What You Bring:
- Must speak English
- Valid California driver's license, clean DMV record
- Willing to obtain ICC certifications (we'll support you through the training)
- Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
- Willingness to learn new skills and travel around the Bay Area as needed
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
Who You Are:
- A problem solver with good attention to detail
- Reliable, hardworking, and eager to grow into a skilled trade
- Good communicator, comfortable working with customers on-site
- Prior construction/technician experience is a plus!
What You'll Learn:
- Installing, diagnosing, and repairing fuel system equipment
- Working with fuel monitoring systems (Veeder Root, Incon)
- Environmental testing and inspections
