Complete LGA1151 kit pulled from a working system. Everything tested and functional. Add a GPU if you want but it has integrated graphics, a ~500w PSU, and case and you're running. The GPU in the image is not part of the listing.
CPU - Intel Core i7-8700K
6 cores / 12 threads, 3.7GHz base / 4.7GHz turbo. Run at stock its entire life - never overclocked, never delidded. Still a strong 1080p gaming chip and plenty for editing, VMs and general productivity. If you go the server route I highly suggest Proxmox. I run an installation with an i5-8500T and it blows me away.
Motherboard - MSI Z390-A Pro (LGA1151) ATX Form Factor
Supports 8th and 9th gen. All ports, slots and headers tested and working. Solid, reliable board for running the 8700K. Z390 boards are getting hard to find, which is why I'm selling this as a complete kit rather than parting it out. Hoping it goes to a good home.
Note on condition: the retention clip on the PCIe x16 slot is broken. The slot itself works perfectly - a GPU seats and runs normally, tested with a RTX 2060 Super over the last few years. The clip is just the plastic tab that locks the card down, so I'd suggest a GPU support bracket.
RAM - Crucial Ballistix 32GB DDR4 (4x8GB), rated 3200MHz
Tested with MemTest86 on a Z490 / i7-10700K at the full rated 3200MHz - zero errors. Ran at 2666MHz in this system, never pushed. Completely stable. Fills all four DIMM slots.
Storage - 256GB M.2 SSD
Air Cooler with Heatsink
Included with mounting hardware. Handles the 8700K at stock comfortably.
