Just sold my '05 9 5 2.3T Sport Combi and now selling my '02 9 5 2.3T Sedan (Linear converted to 2.3T, read below); a FL and ME car. I do all my own work, below are summaries from my notes. Interior is the best you'll see. No cracks or wear marks, passenger and rear seats rarely used. I've had this 9 5 for 10 years; I maintained it.Virtually everything has been done on this car. Previous owners: two single women. Car has gone back and forth — ME to FL. I POR 15 (read about it) all indications of rust on all my Saabs and Volvos. Next to nothing on this car now. Major work done by me since 8/15 — At 140K to 150K: new resonator (center muffler), flex pipe, replaced throttle body with OEM, software reflash to upgrade from Linear to Aero profile (with other mods listed below), replaced trunk harness, window rollers, PCV update with new kit hoses and oil trap, serp belt, upper pulley, air filter, fuel filter, cabin air filter, Laser Platinum NGK plugs, radiator, coolant hoses and vacuum hoses (blue silicone), Akebono pads, rotors and calipers at all 4 wheels, brake hoses, 4 new wheel bearings (SKF in rear, FAG in front), rear wheel shims added for camber adjustment, dog legs fixed (POR 15, etc.), 2 cross stay bushings per side in rear, rear anti-sway bushings, rear trailing arm bushings (Poly Flex), parking brakes dissembled and cleaned/adjusted, dust shields rust proofed with POR 15, rear shock mounts removed and POR 15'd, shocks (OEM), shock bolts, rocker panels POR 15'd, lug nuts replaced, Direct Ignition Cassette 55559955, Garrett turbo REPLACED with MITSUBISHI TD 04 (OEM), new COBRA (Aero) intake pipe, ECU reflashed to Aero specs, new water pump (Hepu OEM), new front struts (OEM), strut bearings, lower trans mount (so-called torque rod bushing), trans fitting to radiator, inner and outer tie rods and ball joints, alignment, front axle nuts, fuel filter, dropped oil pan (no sludge), new oil pickup tube and seals, valve cover gasket, ATF change with Asin IV, front and rear SAAB emblems, replaced the 2 mid and 2 rear SUBFRAME bushings with Poly Flex. At 150K to 184K: shifter jalhousie, headlight covers refinished and sealed, new nickle/copper brake lines from mid to back, painted calipers with POR 15 caliper paint, shark fin replaced with dummy, fixed and replaced windshield cowl trim strip, new windshield, brake booster vacuum lines and check valves, fuel filter, replaced interior and trunk lights with LEDs, replaced front struts, heater blower and heater blower control unit, brake pads (Akebono) and rotors (Zimmerman), cleaned and regapped Laser Platinum NGK plugs, valve cover gasket, timing chain rail, timing chain tensioner, serp belt and upper pulley, crankshaft seal, oil pump o ring, oil pressure switch, Goodridge STAINLESS brake lines at all 4 wheels, replaced complete exhaust system (OEM) — all welded, fuel pump (OEM WALBRO), water pump (Hepu), inner and outer tie rods, ball joints, completely rebuilt driver and passenger CV axles with SAAB OEM CV Joints 5390489 and SAAB inner tripod joints (Note: these rebuilt axles are worth about 1K to SAAB enthusiasts as they are authentic rebuilt SAAB axles, not knockoffs), CV boots, front sway bar bushings, REAR engine mount, trans mount removed and checked — OK, passenger side engine mount 12770367, Bosch OEM starter, Bosch OEM alternator AL0813X, Bosch rebuilt fuel injectors, new tensioner (again), wheel alignment, auto trans servo update kit, trans flush with Asin IV, steering rack boots, heater core, heater bypass valve, evaporator, receiver/dryer, AC expansion valve, ac compressor (Note: this means a new AC system with OEM replacement parts and Nissen parts done at 183K), removed rear hub bolts and cleaned and lubed parking brake cables and springs and inspected parking brake shoes, rear "rosebush" bushings with POLY, replaced PS pump, new short serp belt (Gates K060956z). All oil changes done with Mobil 1 5w-30 at 3-5K intervals. Brake fluid Dot 4 periodically changed when I did brake work. Pentosin PS fluid changed as needed. Cash or wire transfer. Priced to sell.
