This is not a typical entry-level dog training position. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is serious about developing the skills required to become a professional protection dog helper/decoy.
The ideal candidate is:
• Highly motivated, reliable, and hardworking
• Comfortable working with high-drive, powerful dogs
• Physically capable and comfortable with demanding hands-on work
• Emotionally stable and composed around difficult or challenging dogs
• Coachable, humble, and genuinely willing to learn
• Able to take direction and respond well to constructive criticism
• Strong character, work ethic, and personal accountability
• Passionate about working dogs and protection training
• Looking for a long-term opportunity to develop within the field
You do not need to be an experienced decoy. What matters most is your character, work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to commit to the process.
This is a hands-on mentorship and development opportunity where you will learn protection fundamentals, reading dogs, drive development, helper mechanics, equipment work, safety, and how to work with different dogs and temperaments.
We are looking for one serious individual. If you're willing to work hard, learn, take direction, and earn your way into the role, we'd like to hear from you.
