A growing CNC Machine Shop in Gilroy is looking for a dedicated Assembly and Shipping Manager to oversee our workflow, finishing, and shipping operations. In this role, you will lead our team and ensure the seamless coordination of the Finish Room, Assembly, and Shipping processes.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in machine shop manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and hands-on experience managing a full team.

What You Will Do:
* Lead and manage the Finish Room, Assembly, and Delivery staff (minimum 8 people).
* Oversee the entire workflow from the CNC machines through assembly, outside processing, and final delivery.
* Process outside vendor Purchase Orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery of parts.
* Handle shipping logistics, including Packing Lists, UPS shipping documents, and LTL freight.
* Train team members on assembly techniques, finishing skills, and safe warehouse procedures.
* Maintain accurate finished goods inventory and report directly to management.
* Ensure strict quality control and proper packaging before any parts leave the facility.
What We Are Looking For:
* Proven experience in a Supervisory or Management role leading a team of 8+ people.
* Solid background in CNC machine shop manufacturing, assembly, and shipping procedures.
* Experience using ERP systems, specifically ECI JobBoss.
* Forklift certification or the ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
* Strong communication, vendor management, and problem-solving skills.
* Sharp attention to detail with a focus on high-quality parts.
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs frequently (and up to 75 lbs occasionally).
* Comfortable working in a loud, active indoor manufacturing environment with moving mechanical parts.
* Ability to wear required safety gear, including eye protection and masks, at work stations.
