Key Job Responsibilities
• Manages Purchasing Department
• Manages MRP and generates purchase orders on a daily basis.
• Manages receiving of all items purchased.
• Procures the required materials by analyzing existing inventory, open purchase orders and customer demand.
• Updates on a regular basis the open purchase order dates and quantities based on changes in customer demand.
• Confers with vendors and selects products based on price, availability, and delivery schedule.
• Manages and maintains all inventories (hardware, sheet stock, tubing, bar, plastics) and creates end of month reports.
• Manage and supervise employees (1 to 2)
Educational Background
• 3 – 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technical Background
• 3-5 years of experience purchasing for a Precision Sheet metal & Machine Shop
• Proficient in MieTrak or Fabritrak ERP Systems (Mie Trak Pro a Plus)
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of materials (sheet, bar, and tubing), various hardware.

• Must be self-motivated and innovative in addressing routine assignments
• Must be a self-starter and be able to prioritize and plan work activities
• Gather and analyze information skillfully, while demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness.
• Implementing cost saving measures.
