Uni-Fab Industries is looking for an outstanding motivated Material Handler/Shop Helper to join a rapidly growing manufacturing company. The whole shop is air-conditioned.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products
• Move materials to and from Laser Department and other manufacturing areas
• Identify and label Jobs/materials.
• Break out Laser Cut parts, Stack, Count, and move to next process.
• Operate forklifts & Pallet Jacks to move Jobs/Parts.
• Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
• Maintain the organization of the Back Lot Storage area.
Technical Background: (Required Skillset)
• Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) forklift training will be required; training will be conducted onsite.
• Availability to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read & write and to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials up to 75 pounds.
• Knowledge of different materials (CRS, SST, Alum, plastics) This can be learned on the job.
