We are looking for an experienced Low Voltage Technician to join our team.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in commercial low-voltage installation, with experience in:
Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A data cabling
Fiber optic cabling and termination
Video surveillance / IP cameras
Access control systems
Network equipment and PoE devices
Cable pulling, routing, and termination
Testing and troubleshooting low-voltage systems
Reading construction drawings and cable schedules
Working in commercial construction environments
Candidates should be comfortable working independently and as part of a small installation team.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Fluent in English
2+ years professional low-voltage experience
Strong understanding of networking and structured cabling
Experience installing and troubleshooting security systems
Fiber installation/termination experience
Ability to use hand tools and test equipment
Ability to read plans and follow installation drawings
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Professional appearance and good communication skills
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Must be willing to travel to job sites throughout Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC
Security industry licenses/certifications are a plus, but not required if you have strong field experience.
