INDEPENDENT LITIGATION & APPELLATE SUPPORT

I provide project-based research, drafting, and analytical support to solo attorneys and small law firms handling complex civil litigation and appeals.
My experience includes several years of intensive work involving state and federal civil litigation, First Circuit appellate proceedings, large records, related proceedings across jurisdictions, and complicated procedural and factual disputes.
Services include:
• Legal research and case verification
• Drafting and revising motions, briefs, and memoranda under attorney direction
• Reviewing records and checking factual and record citations
• Analyzing opposing arguments and identifying inconsistencies
• Building detailed timelines and factual summaries
• Organizing exhibits and document-intensive records
• Reviewing procedural histories and related proceedings
• Assisting with appellate briefs and argument preparation
I also have a PhD in mechanical engineering and more than 20 years of experience in engineering software, numerical simulation, product development, and technology-company management. I am particularly well suited for cases involving technical, scientific, engineering, software, product, or expert-evidence issues.
Available for discrete assignments, overflow work, or longer-term case support. Small projects are welcome. Work can be performed remotely or in the Greater Boston area.
Services are provided to licensed attorneys and law firms. All work remains subject to attorney review and supervision.
