Original paint from the 1970's, serious collectors may choose to restore or go full steampunk. Tubular (sew up) tires are long gone, but Nisi wheels with Campagnolo Record hubs spin straight and true, as they likely always have. Nice vintage mix of components from across the globe. Homage paid to the drillium era as well, including rare Dura Ace non aero levers.
Paint is badly worn and clearly original from the 1970's. Please note 4 hole bottom bracket shell and low #238 serial number dates this baby early in Ron Cooper's illustrious career. Clover lugs, rare '70's Campagnolo vertical dropouts, still has original 120mm rear spacing! TT measures 51.5cm ctc and seat tube is 49cm ctt. Another desirable small size Ron Cooper frame and fork is listed on Ebay for $740 shipped, and that one does not have the 4 hole BB shell, clovers, or rare dropouts. Why pay more? Come get this glorious barn find today for just $365, your choice of cash or Venmo. Hurry and I will include the SR Sakae Grand Randonneur drop bar free! (see last pics).
