Remington Rand Library Bureau was a major supplier to libraries and corporate offices, for example Carnegie Libraries being built throughout the US in early 1900’s. This table was originally in the R&D lab of (former) Fiberboard Corp. in Antioch, CA. It has “patina” of residual stains from inks evaluated in the lab. There is some minor veneer delamination on the top. I’ve been told the veneer and finish can be restored. My brother refinished a similar ink-stained bookcase, and it came out beautiful. I've had the table for 50 years. For my purpose, I used a table cloth, and didn’t wax it, or worry about appearances. Chairs are not included.
Cash sale, please.
