Rehoming only because he isn't a good fit with my two resident cats. Nothing wrong with him!
I purchased this gorgeous little guy at the San Jose Reptile Show. He was honestly my favorite snake in the entire expo, incredibly bright, clean pastel yellow, peach and lavender grey coloration. So many people stopped to look at him at the show!
I had looked at tons of ball pythons before buying him, including the βrareβ ball pythons ($400-600) you typically see at Petco, and this guy was just on a completely different level in person. I fell in love and ended up spending a lot more money on him because of his appearance and genetics.
I originally thought I might get into breeding in the future, but after bringing him home, I realized my two cats and reptiles simply arenβt a great combination. The cats are scared of him, and heβs scared of them too. Keeping everyone comfortably separated has been harder than I expected, and Iβve realized breeding is probably a little too ambitious for me right now.
So Iβm hoping to find him a great new home. β€οΈ I paid $1,600 and am asking $800, so this is a great opportunity for someone who loves his genetics and appearance to get a really special little guy at a much more affordable price.
After spending more time handling him, I also have to say that his personality is just as amazing as his looks. He is exceptionally sweet, curious, and comfortable around people. He handles beautifully and seems to genuinely enjoy calmly exploring while being held. I think he could make a wonderful pet and potentially a great educational/show animal for supervised handling.
