A Little About Cross Plains Family Chiropractic
We're a family chiropractic office with a "keep it simple" heart. Two doctors. A small but MIGHTY team. Patients who have trusted us for years.
Along with chiropractic care, we offer spinal decompression, shockwave, and a weight loss program. Our patients get RESULTS here... and that's what makes this job so fun.
The first face they see on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays? YOU. The last one on their way out the door? Also you. That's not "just the front desk." Your role is so much bigger than that.
Chiropractic or healthcare experience is a PLUS... but it is NOT required. We'll train the right fit.
Our doctors invest in a professional Chiropractic Assistant Coach who works with our team one-on-one. So you'll be coached on the phones, the patient conversations, the systems, all of it. Some of the best chiropractic assistants started with zero experience and a whole lot of heart.
Who We're Looking For
A true people person, warm and genuinely FUN to be around
The kind of person who remembers a patient's grandson just started college... and ASKS about it next visit
ACCURATE. Names, phone numbers, dates, and dollar amounts matter here, and you get them right
Comfortable with numbers and computers. You don't have to be an expert... you just can't be scared of them
Steady when it's busy. A full schedule and a ringing phone don't rattle you
Someone who takes direction well AND brings their own spark
Excited to learn how to encourage patients to stay on track with their care and share their experience, so more families get help
Open to being coached and open to being GREAT
Most important: a shy person would not be happy in this role. You'll talk to a lot of people all day, on the phone and in person. If that drains you, this isn't your fit.
What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like
The Heart of the Job
Greet every patient like they're walking into your home, and manage check-in
Answer the phone warmly and guide new patients through their first questions
Keep patients scheduled and on track with their care (training provided)
Make follow-up calls so no patient slips through the cracks
Help patients understand their care and at-home instructions (training provided)
The Logistical Side of the Job
Keep patient records accurate and confidential
Assist the doctors during patient assessments and treatments (we'll train you)
Keep the front desk, treatment rooms, and equipment clean and organized
Compensation & Perks
$20/hour to start
Paid one-on-one coaching with a professional Chiropractic Assistant Coach
Free Chiropractic Care and Weight Loss for you and your immediate family
Position Hours
Tuesday, Thursday: 9-1 & 2-6 and Friday: 9-1 & 2-5
Some flexibility in days and hours for the right person.
High school diploma required.
