Fortune Favors is hiring for a few temporary manufacturing roles through the busy holiday season, with full-time and part-time work available on our rockstar Production & Packaging team. The possibility exists for additional full-time work to be available past the end of the year, for interested and motivated folks. All team members work at our manufacturing facility in Cottage Grove, WI. We make the world’s best candied pecans—and we’re pretty sure we also employ some of the best humans around. If you're proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn, we want to meet you!
💼 About the Role:
Your main mission? Helping us make and package our delicious pecans. But every day might bring something new—this is a hands-on role in a small, growing business, where flexibility and initiative are key. If you're the kind of person who sees what needs doing and jumps in without being asked, you'll fit right in.

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing:
Cooking pecans in a variety of flavors
Packaging finished product into cans and pouches
Keeping the kitchen extra clean, organized, and running smoothly
Logging daily procedures (SOPs) and improvements
Learning the ins and outs of production, from setup to cleanup
Pitching in wherever needed—we’re a team!
✅ What We’re Looking For:
Can lift 50 lbs comfortably
Solid basic math skills
Keen attention to detail
Positive, proactive attitude
Strong communicator—follows up and follows through
Reliable, organized, and clean
Previous manufacturing or food production experience is a plus
Motivated to improve and grow with us
English/Spanish bilingual is a plus
🕒 The Details:
Full-time (Monday–Friday, shifts vary)
Starting at $21/hour, with a 90-day performance review with raise potential
Paid time off starts accruing day 1, health/dental/vision benefits available for FT roles
Annual merit-based raises
