For sale is a 1974 Corvette Stingray coupe with under 28,000 original miles. It has a 454 CI big block engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The story is told that the original owner sold the car to his brother in 1976. The brother, complaining that the 454 CI LS4 engine was under-powered, ordered and installed a new engine with more HP. Always garaged, the car has the original paint and sports T-tops. The A/C system is complete but not working at this time. The car has power steering, power brakes, tilt/telescoping steering wheel and manual windows. All gauges work, clock does not. Overall, the car is in exceptional condition.
Price is firm.
Upgrades within the last two years include:
• Changed transmission and differential fluids
• New leather seat covers and seat foams
• New carpet with sound deadening and heat shield underlayment
• New Custom Auto Sound retro radio with Bluetooth and sound bar
