Production Worker $21.29 - $22.40/hr

Responsibilities

• Inspect dough and finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
• Package frozen bread and rolls according to specifications, including labeling, sealing, and date coding.
• Place packaged products into cases and prepare them for storage and shipping.
• Assist with machine set-ups, changeovers, and production line activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and production areas.
• Move supplies and products using hand trucks, dollies, and carts.
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate important information to team leads and coworkers.
• Help train new or less experienced employees as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
• Participate in cleaning and sanitation activities to maintain a safe, sanitary food manufacturing environment.
• Be available for overtime when needed (overtime is not guaranteed).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to speak and understand English well enough to communicate effectively and read written instructions.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn to operate production equipment.
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram instructions.
• Problem-solving skills and willingness to ask questions when needed.
• Comfortable using basic computer equipment, touch screens, and tablets.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to bend, lift, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, cold, and airborne particles.
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to participate in company initiatives and process improvement.

Compensation

$21.29 per hour starting pay, increasing to $22.40 per hour after 90 days
